Concert Programme

We tend to rehearse slightly more music than we need during each season then selecting the pieces that we enjoy and work best along the way. This concert’s programme will be taken from:

• Leighton – Festival Overture
• Smetana – Vlatava
• Schubert – Incidental music to Rosamunda
• Dvořák – Czech Suite Op. 39
• Beethoven – 5th Symphony – 4th movement

and, possibly

• Moross – The Big Country Suite

Tickets

We do not charge for admission to our concerts but instead we hold a retiring collection as you leave.  Proceeds from the collection are split between the orchestra (which is a charity) and a UK charity nominated by the orchestra’s members.  The nominated second charity is different for each concert.
